Arden hails from Spring Lake, NJ, but has woven a tapestry of visual abstraction from coast-to-coast.

Painting professionally since his college years in the late 1980¹s in Orange County, CA, Arden¹s work has taken a journey through the different periods of his life, expressing himself in what he refers to as ³a visual dance of abstract thought.²

³I find the music I¹m listening to to be very inspirational; such as music is an expression of one¹s thoughts through music media, my work is a visual dance of sorts, a dance in the artist¹s mind at a glance, at that precise moment, in one pure expression of the subconscious.²

Arden is currently the artist-in-residence at Morris Interiors, Spring Lake, NJ, and has shown his work from Los Angeles and Orange County to New York City and the tri-state area, from galleries to installations in restaurants, coffeehouses and public spaces. He utilizes a wide range of media, painting on everything from doors to plywood to Plexiglas, vases to light fixtures to vinyl sheeting.
